Tropical Inspiration | Palm House, Kew Gardens

Recently I visited Kew Gardens in Richmond, London, home to the worlds largest collection of living plants - so a huge source of visual inspiration! In this particular post I will be sharing some of my images from the Palm House, which accommodates a large amount of tropical and exotic plants.

The impressive exterior of the glasshouse immediately caught my eye as we entered the gardens, with its spectacular architecture. Inside, the vast amounts of plants, create a depth and richness to the variety of green, earthy tones of the plant life. In my photography I tried to capture the bold, exotic variety of shapes in the palms layered together and combine with the linear, angular qualities of the glasshouse.
