This exhibition explores the distinctive style of Ottavio and Rosita Missoni and showcases a range of textiles and artworks that have created the distinctive Italian fashion brand, Missoni.

Exploring the importance of colour through material and form, the exhibition presents a range of artwork by leading 20th century European artists, as well as the Missoni brand itself.

These large patchwork wallhangings were said to be "a focus for Missoni's artistic expression" through combining together colour and fabric with fashion and art. They formed the development of the garments Missoni would create, displaying combinations of varying colours, woven patterns and designs.
